clayâs thinking
Trip out. Sheâs not the type that usually scams on me. All professional. But this oneâs trying to. She looks like she works in an office with her suit-type thing going on, gold jewelry, all that. Iâll have to investigate whatâs up with her. First time I see her, Iâm in the photo lab, wearing my pussy uniform and developing the usual lame pictures when she comes through the door. Sheâs got a camera in her hand like she wants it fixed or something, and she just rolls up to me and asks me about the skull tattooed on my bicep. She says itâs cool. But itâs not even finished yet. The flames shooting out of the eye sockets and mouth ainât even colored in yet. Iâma get it done in yellow and red. Itâs gonna be bad.
Right off, though, Iâm thinking sheâs cool even if she has her little office thing going on. Usually my tats keep the people away that need to be kept away, and if people donât look at me like Iâm a fucking criminal and shit then I know theyâre cool people. If youâre freaked-out by my tats, then step off. You donât need to be knowing me. This girl, she wasnât like that. She was cool. She did want her camera fixed, though, and was holding it up to me, like Iâm mister technology guy, like I know how to fix a camera. Iâm all, âIâm sorry, but I just develop the film and stuff.â She goes, âOh,â and gives me this little smile like, âDuh, Iâm such a moron.â It was cool. Most people would be all up in my face, pissed at me cause Iâm not the one to fix their shit. She just stood there, and then she goes, âWell, thank you anyway.â I stare at her, Iâm all, âUh, youâre welcome.â Trevorâs all, âI can help you over here, miss.â She bailed after tightass Trevor helped her out.
She keeps coming in for small things, kind of lame stuff. I know whatâs up. She asked if she could touch my bat tattoo the other day. Iâm outside on my lunch break, eating my burger when she walks by. I had my shirt off cause I was roasting, no shit. It was Africa hot. I could see her coming up the street, and she could see me, but I didnât wave at her cause she wasnât close enough yet. I would have looked all retarded waving at her when sheâs way down the block and shit. When she got up to me, she was looking at my chest and everything before she looked me in the eyes. I lift every day and Iâm cut, so I know she was checking out my stuff. Sheâs all, âThat batâs neat. It didnât hurt you to get it on your shoulder blade like that? You mind?â And then she runs her fingers over it. When she did that, my stomach got all crazy on me but I played it off.
